Some of the content I post here and on YouTube involves digging into the research. For these posts/videos I find the best research to answer a specific question, like “is saturated fat a cause of heart disease.” It’s time-consuming, but I do it for myself I suppose, and have been for quite a while. I’ve been unable to compromise scientific integrity in this online space, where anyone can say anything and claim that there is science to support it–that’s all too common in the space of alternative medicine and health and wellness in general. So, what I’m doing here is sharing with you the research that goes into each video.
For each topic I discuss, I will create a Google Drive folder containing the cited research articles as well as a Word document where I summarize each article. If research is something you’d like to learn more about, this is a good way for you to stay informed. After these research-based YouTube videos are uploaded, I will send all of you who are on this separate email list the link to the Google Drive folder that contains the relevant documents.
Since this is time-consuming and I don’t get paid to do it, we’ll see how long I can keep this up. I will make no promises but for now, you can get started by getting the first set of research for my latest video on brown rice vs. white rice. Enter your email in the box below, and then make sure to confirm your email. The confirmation email contains the link. There will be no further emails after that (except for other announcements). By signing up you’ll be on my email list.
Further, everything in that folder will be posted on my patreon, to patrons only. This means you have to be donating to see these posts. I suggest donating $1/month and this will give you access. But of course, you can also get them here for free, but if you become a patron, they will be available there as well. I only want to give this to people who are serious, hence, the extra step. Enjoy!
